An Introduction To The Group, And Our Product Idea

This term, Ravensbourne College has faced us all with a task that brings together all the creative elements of the college. Enterprise and Entrepreneurship has teamed up students from different courses to overcome a task by utilizing management techniques and working together as a team. The task that was given to our E+E class was to find a need or a problem, and then come up with a product idea that would be a solution to the need or problem.

In my group's first meeting, we discussed many various issues that we could use as a starting point for a product. We drew our a large brainstorm, and wrote down ideas that we came up with. In the end, we all decided that we should try and encourage people to recycle more. We felt that the best way to do this would be to introduce a reward card system that gives you discount in supermarkets. The more you recycle, the more points people would be rewarded. It would act similarly to a nectar card.

We were split up into mixed teams, consisting of students from different courses. Here is a list of everyone in our Group, the course they study, and their roles in the team:
